Thank you all for the birthday wishes! 2024 has been one of my most difficult years and I’ve been less present among family and friends. It seems the older we get the faster time seems to get away from us and I’m sad to have not prioritised the important relationships in my life. I have done a bunch of self-reflecting this year and am truly grateful for having so many wonderful people around me.

My birthday celebrations were on hold last week as we had a scare with Pepperoni - 2 visits to the emergency vet, 1 almost surgery, and an overnight stay in hospital. Thankfully she’s responded well to treatments and is almost back to her normal happy self.

I’m sorry I haven’t responded to any birthday messages (and messages in general really). Please know I appreciate each and every one of you and your thoughts and kind words have been a wonderful light over the year even though I don’t express it enough.
